Angel Huang (黃映潔) is a Taiwanese film producer and the founder of Future Connect Ltd., renowned for discovering and collaborating with emerging creative talents. With a background in film distribution and marketing in Beijing, she has produced internationally acclaimed projects such as Light the Wild and its sequel Starlight BnB, both acquired by Netflix. She also co-produced Lie to Me with New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, reflecting her dedication to nurturing fresh voices in cinema.
Her latest project, Force Times Displacement, is a hand-drawn animated short that delves into themes of work and identity through innovative storytelling and dynamic visuals. Committed to pushing the boundaries of animation, Huang continues to shape the medium by championing bold creators and timeless narratives.
